Project One

Showcase

Elysium's ´94 debut E.P.

A slow epic morning (according to the old terms of trance) and tribal trance release with a big arsenal of ethnic, tribal and nature samples.

Included is the tribal classic Interpretation of Dreams and a early goatrance track Subconsiousness (that later would shape the sound of Elysium) and an experimental down tempo track Mind travel as well as the trance Anthem Aliens with its slow hypnotic buildup and nice rich atmospheric pads.

Master of the Rainforest

Showcase

Master of the Rainforest was one of the biggets psychedelic smashes in 1995 both in Europe and Asia.

On this fine classic release the track gets a superb reworking by danish VIP Dj Carsten Halib, danish/italian duo Anesthesia and Elysium himself. Also featured is the memorable track "Monzoon", an equal tripped-out journey through dense mind foliage to the temple of wisdom in the middle of the jungle.

Yemaya & Xanuba

Showcase

The Yemaya and Xanuba 12.inch was created with WORM in Amsterdam.

With the help of Zen Paradox's (Australia) analog studio equipment (Used on his live tour) we created a 12.inch I consider to be Elysium's most experimental till date. Yemaya is a typical Elysium - ethnic tribal - tune with a slightly sharper edge in the melodies. Xanuba is the experimental part of this release. Its 150 Bpm even though the way it's made makes it sound less fast. The soundscape's are more psychedelic than usual making this a more "weird" track than the usual trademark of the earlier Elysium sound.
