With Dance for the Celestial Beings I wanted to make people aware of other cultures and values. Therefore I used samples from Greenland, Africa, Tibet, Greece, The Middle East and samples from nature as well as the animal kingdom using whales, monkeys, birds and snakes.

Sometimes the samples are obvious but once in a while such as the whales and the snakes you really can’t tell where the sound comes from. For me it’s always been important to tell a story in my tracks. The reason why I called the album Dance for the Celestial Beings was that I felt we could, and still can, learn a lot from the ancient now disappearing cultures. Not only did they live in unison with their surroundings but their religion and myths also made their daily life much more relaxed in the sense that they were not confused or scared about their own death and the life beyond this one.

Nowadays we all live in a world that’s very complex where most of us are alienated against our ancient roots. That’s why I recorded a track like Aliens. Not because I was thinking of Extra Terrestrials but more in the direction of our own alienation towards the world, people, animals and nature that surrounds us. The track Illusive World also indicates the frustration I feel when I’m constantly being reminded of wars and hunger. Master of the Rainforest allows people to dream themselves away back into the womb of Mother Nature making a distance to their daily life. Keep it cool tell people not to take things too seriously and to relax.

I see more and more people with psychological problems as well as getting sick caused by stress which inspired me to write A Journey into the Complex Mind. I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say that I am fascinated, curious and a bit scared, when I see all the new technology being used to manipulate our genes. Basically I believe that we should be allowed to evolve the naturally way. I don’t believe its healthy for us to interfere too much with Mother Nature and I’m sure that somehow it will damage us more than it will help us.
